A Note on the Transcriptions
With the exception of “I Waited for You” (which begins with a piano arrangement of the original version of the tune before proceeding to the transcription of Miles’s version), all of the solos are transcribed specifically for Bb trumpet. The chord symbols indicating the basic changes are given in the transposed key to relate to the melody line as written.
