The piano works of Antonín Dvorák stand in the shadow of the great symphonist, author of numerous chamber music pieces, extensive oratorios and operatic works. Despite this, they comprise many valuable compositions. The ones we know of are compiled in the Collected Edition of the Piano Works of Antonín Dvorák published in two volumes. This first volume contains the following works: Dumka Op. 35, Tema con variazioni Op. 36, two Furiants Op. 42, Silhouettes Op. 8, Waltzes Op. 54, Eclogues B 103 and Piano Pieces Op. 52. The musical text is reprinted from the Complete Edition of the Works of Antonín Dvorák, series V / volumes 1-6. The publication includes a Preface by Jarmil Burghauser.
