On August 15,1991, Paul Simon brought his Born At The Rigbht Time tour to New York’s Central Park for a free concert on the Great Lawn.
A crowd of 750,000 gathered to hear a retrospective mix of songs from the twelve~tme Grammy winner’s career, featuring favorites
from the Graceland and The Rhythm Of The Saints albums along with classics such as “The Sound Of Silence” “Bridge Over Troubled Water” and “Still Crazy After All These Years.” The 17-piece band-
assembled from 3 continents-was joined by 10 drummers from the Bahian drum ensemble Grupo Cultural OLODUM to make an exhilarating musical and cultural event.
